Big Fish Blues

(6 Months Later)

The final stages of the "Grand Structure" are nearing completion.

Atlantis is ready to become the Earth's first great city!

Ext: Premature's sleeping quarters.

Lord Fredric and Blaze standing on newly laid sidewalk of fabricated bricks.

Blaze

"Lord...I'm a little concerned about a couple of things?"

Lord Fredric

"Oh...and what would that be?"

Blaze

"Well, kind of occurred to me but, we never considered the sanitary areas...you know, places to take a dump!"

Lord Fredric

"Take a dump?"

Blaze

"Exactamumbo...no crappola!"

Lord Fredric

"No cause for alarm, Mark just hasn't quite figured out the specs on the water system yet..."

Blaze

"What's with the water system?"

Lord Fredric

"Well, how do you figure it works...how do you move turds anyway...it's the water, it washes them down the tube!"

Blaze

"Tube...tube to where?"

Lord Fredric

"Who cares...as long as it's just not sitting around stinking up the place!"

Blaze

"Well, we could use it as fertilizer, maybe dry them out and burn them for heat or cooking?"

Lord Fredric

"Sounds rather unsavory, what are we growing anyway?"

Blaze

"Lima Beans I guess?"

Lord Fredric

"Like heck we are...I was hoping those things would go extinct!"

Blaze

"Actually Lord, they're a great source of protein..."

Lord Fredric

Maybe on your diet, but I'd prefer giant lizards anytime!"

Blaze

"But, there aren't any giant lizards around here, we're surrounded by water!"

Lord Fredric

"That's why we must turn to the sea, the large pond of water which goes on forever...I have the subhumans down there testing the waters...so to speak!"

(Scene Switch)

Ext: Shoreline

Subhumans with crude fishing poles casting out into water.

Suddenly, fish jumps half way out of water and swallows one of the subhumans. 

Others gather around, trying to save swallowed comrade, as the fish manages to eat yet another, then another...then the fish attempted to go for the third to only choke and belch, leaving only the legs hanging out it's mouth.

They finally pull the huge 860 pound Red Fish out of the water.

Subhuman #1 searching for something positive to say

"That is one big fish, the Lord will be pleased!"

"Subhuman #2

"Yea...guess that's what he meant when he discussed sacrifice...with our blessings we shall endure!"

Subhuman #1

"Do we cook it, or can we eat it like it is?"

Subhuman #2

"Seems a bit much for the laser...so much meat..."

(Scene Switch)

Ext: Lord Fredric's Balcony

Lord Fredric and Blaze making chit-chat.

Suddenly looking at the top of this 30 foot fish being drug by them.

Lord Fredric

"Good God, what is that...we're being invaded...what is that?"

Blaze

"According to my memory bank...it's classified as a Big Fish!"

Lord Fredric

"Is that what they look like...almost as big as them Lizards!

Blaze

"Well, the ones we had back on planet Altair were small...you could hold them in your hands and..."

Lord Fredric

"Hands...heavens boy...it's bigger than our ship...you could feed a thousand men and still have leftovers!"

Blaze

"Yes Lord...I must admit, that's a lot of fish right there..."

Subhuman #1 looking up to balcony

"We snag it...trying to catch normal size, but no normal size, just really big...keep attacking fishermen!"

Blaze

"What do you mean...attacking?"

Subhuman #2

"It ate them!"

Blaze

"How many?"

Subhuman #1

"About two and a half..."

Subhuman #2

"Kinda choked on the third."

Blaze

"Choked...what happened?"

Subhuman #1 looking at ground

"Well, it burped up two legs...didn't look good..."

Subhuman #2

"Yea, came up a little short..."

Subhuman #1 giggling to himself

"Couldn't get a leg up, so to speak..."

Blaze

"Come on guys...this isn't funny...Brenda's really going to be down about this!"

Subhuman #1

"Why's that?"

Blaze

"Because, you are all her children...I mean three dead...all turned into fish food and..."

Subhuman #2

"Actually two and a half..."

Blaze

"Alright, two and a half, whatever...such a waste...and it's pretty cold of you two to make fun out of this, although (laughing to himself), the half part...that's just crazy!"

Subhuman #2

"You have to remember, I'm subhuman...I have no emotions...not yet anyway."

Blaze

"Yea, haven't figured out the programming for that yet...lot of work to do!"

(They suddenly hear thumping sounds coming from inside of fish)

Blaze

"Probably just gas bubbles..."

Subhuman #2 listening against wall of giant fish scales

"No...no, it's them!"

Blaze

"You mean...aw come on, hurry up, get the laser!"

(1 Hour Later)

Extracting two gooey subhumans from fish's stomach

Subhuman #3

"Pretty dark in there!"

Subhuman #4 climbing out of cut hole

"That's it, I'm done with this fishing stuff...I'm not bait for the last time...it's his fault!"

Lord Fredric walking down stairs

"What have we got here Lad's...looks like you were sacrificing yourselves there..."

Blaze

"Actually, the fish couldn't wait...we had to cut them out!"

Lord Fredric

"Say what?"

Subhuman #3

"The large creature ate us...one didn't make it."

Subhuman #4

"Yes your Lord, we weren't getting any hits on the bait we were using..."

Lord Fredric

"And just what was that?"

Subhuman #4 wiping himself off

"Green pods...nothing!"

Lord Fredric

"Don't tell me...Lima Beans...even the fish find them disgusting...they are created from a darker place I tell you!"

(Two Hours Later)

After cutting the fish into precision cuts of meat, they have piled them into 12 stacks, twenty feet high.

Lord Fredric

"My my, what an impressive amount of nutrition we have here!"

Blaze

"We simplified it, just cut them into straight lines...like small rectangular sticks."

Lord Fredric

"What shall we call them...ah, we shall call them, what you say...ah yes, Fish Sticks!"

Blaze

"Yea, I remember now...it was Paul the Butcher...bless his sole...I think his wife suggested that...when they were considering how to make portions for hand out..."

Lord Fredric

"Smart woman she was...so that's what we will call them!"

Blaze

"What's that?"

Lord Fredric

"Fish sticks my boy...Mrs. Paul's Fish Sticks!

Blaze

"I like that...real catchy...catch, get it?"

Lord Fredric laughing

"And it shall be done!"
